Eastsiders (Butch specifically): What did the weather do out there today? I know the TStorms were spotty so I am wondering what happened at EF. I was hoping to go out tomorrow morning/afternoon for some scout laps. Thanks!

Yeah, I heard it poured pretty much everywhere overnight so I'll definitely skip it today. Hopefully it dries out at least most of the way for sunday.

Mott...I doubt the trail will be ride able for scout laps in the am. We got BLASTED last night..like 3 inches of rain. Plus If you ride by me while I'm draining mud holes for the race Ima throw sticks in your spokes! I'll be there at 7am swinging a rhino and clearing any debris.

There is a blow down on P3 that IS IN PLAY AND RIDEABLE I'm leaving it in to throw some"mountain" into the mountain bike race...obviously Ryan the promoter has the final say on that though!

Trail conditions as of 11:30 Saturday morning... 80% Dry to crispy and 20% Slop. Me, Thadeus and Mike D, busted arse and drained most of the BIG mudholes (thanks poachers) as best we could, and re-routed 1 short section. There are 3 blowdowns on P3 requiring a chainsaw which I don't have access to. Hopefully Ryan @ OMBC does and can handle that pre-race!
The Brass Tax?
If we get no rain betwixt now and the 1PM start It'll be fast and fun! If we do it'll be slow and fun!..lol

Trees are cut on P3 EXCEPT one that is "in play" and do-able by those with the skill. It is on the "tech" trail after all. Also the trail is drying nicely and even the big mudholes are a little less nasty. Someone posted there was a blow down on P1..I didn't see it. Also
IF YOU SEE DIRT BIKES ON THE TRAIL REPORT THEM INSTANTLY!!!!
I saw tracks out there this eve and the culprit was spotted after I left by a new rider I met in the lot.
Thanks

Charge your batteries for some night riding before the rain hits again.  The trails were in better shape today than the last time I hit EF which was like in June.

EF was frozen solid yesterday, it was super fast with a few trees down. Billy thanks for clearing the trail...
