Alright, it's time to find out who on Team Smitty's is going to step up and throw down (or up, as it were) this Sunday at E/I?  So far, I hear that Butch and Mott are in the mix.  Mike Lober will be coming out of his temporary infant-induced retirement to show everyone who's the Daddy now.  Heck, I'm gonna do it if I have enough help in the AM.

Who else is coming?!?  Fast Legs Kelly?  Justin?  Drew?  Ladies?  The Gottfried Family Riders?

I rode most of EI with Fastlegs last night...on our cross bikes. He contends that he will race sport on his cross bike if his tubbies are ready in time. I'm in for sure (on my mountain bike).

Trails are in great shape; it's already drained from the recent storms. No mud anywhere from what I saw.

I wish I was racing! but Ive got the girls racing instead! Stacy is racing 1st timers on her Huffy and Haley and Lacy will be racing in the kids race....I'll probably ride my road bike out to the course and have Stacy meet me there with the truck...I cant wait!

The course is going to fast this year very very fast. It will grewat to see how both series ends up and who will be on top of the podium....

Sounds like Grumpy Old Men 3!!!

Yeah Nubes, bring the girls out for some great racing.  This year, Mike Lehrter and Bryan Wright are gonna put together a killer course for the 5+ crowd, who will be racing on the single track at the bottom of the hill.  The ballfield up top will be for tykes & training wheels this year.  We've got nice medals for all participants to boot.

Great race...thanks for putting it all together Matt!  Conner and I both had a blast...he was super-stoked that he actually got to race on a real trail this year Smiley

Good job Matt. Everything ran smoothly even with the course hackers (they'll burn in MTB purgatory). Butch rocked out the PA and it seemed as though a good time was had by all.  Grin

Matt you did an awesome job as usual...Haley had a blast and is still wearing her medal I think?? I wish we could have helped out more. Id like to be racing this next year but Stacy and I still want to help if you need it??
